Great Comeback: Isaac Dogboe wins first fight against Chris Avalos after his Back-2-Back defeat
Former WBO Super Bantanweight Champion, Isaac Dogboe staged a successful comeback after defeating Chris Avalos in Las Vegas this Tuesday, July 21st, 2020.
Isaac ‘Royal Storm’ Dogboe dominated in each round of the fight lading Avalos with heavy and dirty punches at the MGM Grand Conference Center, Las Vegas.
Isaac, however, got a point deduction for a low blow against his opponent somewhere in the 6th round.
The ‘Royal Storm’ ended the fight in the 8th round with a 3 punch combination and sweeping right which connected with the head of Chris Avalos and prompted the referee to end the fight because the punches might have damaged him in a way.
Dogboe this time around had a new trainer in the person of new trainer Barry Hunter issuing instructions from his corner.

After his heaviest defeat ever to Mexican, Emmanuel Navarrete, in a back to back fight in 2019, Isaac Dogboe had this to say:
“An hour after the [rematch with Navarrete], I was in the hospital having a check-up. There was a lot of craziness and I was thinking, ‘Oh damn! Sh*t! This happened,’” Dogboe said
“It is something I had to learn; to rise above the waters. In every step of the way God has been right beside me and he has helped through all those things.
“Right now I feel really different. I feel like what is coming is going to be greater. I am in a much better place.”
