The world of boxing was stunned last night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas as Tyson Fury defeated the unbeaten champion, Deontay Wilder in the seventh round to claim the heavyweight title.
Tyson Fury dropped Deoantay Wilder twice before finishing him completely in the seventh round, BieGyaNation.Com noted.
From the scorecards of the judges, the 31-year-old Tyson Fury was in the lead in all the seven rounds the much-hyped bout had travelled.
The ‘Gypsy King’ mercilessly beat Deontay Wilder making him bl.eed from the ear and bullied to the level that the Alabaman’s corner threw in the towel in the seventh round after an unabated beating.
The two boxers previously clashed in a thrilling encounter in Los Angeles in December 2018 which resulted in a controversial draw.
It is not clear at this point if the defeated champion, Deontay Wilder will ever activate the trilogy rematch clause.
For now, it looks likely the next biggest fight that will happen will be between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua who now holds the other three world title belts.
Well, Yours Truly BieGyaNation.Com can’t tell if the much-anticipated bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury would ever come off or not.
We will surely keep you updated.
