Real name Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, Nasty C is a South African hip hop artiste, singer, songwriter, and record producer.

Nasty C holds the record as the youngest recipient of the “Best Freshman Award” at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards.

He is best known for hit singles like “Hell Naw”, “Snapchat H0es”, and the remix of his “Juice Back” which featured Davido and Cassper Nyovest.

Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo aka Nasty C was born on Tuesday, February 11, 1997.

Hometown, Childhood, Family, Parents

Nasty C was born to Mrs and Mr David Maviyo Ngcobo — who’s a human resources manager.

The “Juice Back” rapper was born in Diepkloof located in Soweto in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Nasty C was only 11 months old when his real mother, Veliswa sadly lost her life in a fatal road car accident.

He had to be relocated, as a result of his mother’s death, to Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal where he was raised by his father, Mr. David Maviyo Ngcobo.

Even though Nasty knows very little about his mother, he has a song titled “U OK” fully dedicated to her.

His elder brother Siyabonga Ngcobo, who has long been in the music industry, serves as a record producer.

Of course, Siyabonga Ngcobo mentored Nasty C to become who he is today.

Junior & Senior High School Education Of Nasty C

Nasty C began his junior high school at Nuz Junior High in the township of Umlazi, Durban.

The “Hell Naw” rapper attended Strelitzia School in Lotus Park, Durban where he completed his 12th grade in 2014.

Nasty C Girlfriend

Nasty C has been dating his longtime girlfriend who goes by the name, Ntombozodwa Beatrice Sibanyoni aka Sammie Heavens.

Ntombi has been Nasty Cs’ girlfriend since Grade 9 at Nuz Junior High in the township of Umlazi, Durban, South Africa.

Nasty C has a song titled “Mrs. Me” which is dedicated to his girlfriend, Sammie Heavens.

Interestingly, the two lovebirds have a joint Instagram account, @k.i.s.t.w.w.c — which means “The Kids in School Thought We Were Crazy”.

Nasty C House or Mansion

The “Hell Naw” rapper owns a magnificent mansion in Johannesburg and that is where he lives with his girlfriend, Ntombozodwa Beatrice Sibanyoni.

Unfortunately, in September 2017, Nasty C together with four others were attacked and tied up by some thieves at gunpoint in his house.

The thieves (2 suspects) made away with valuables that included a Rolex watch, cell phones, laptops, tablets, among others.

Nasty C was, however, grateful and thankful to God because nobody was hurt in the attack by the thieves.

Nasty C Cars

Nasty C owns a number of luxurious cars. He has never hidden his preference and love for German cars.

In 2017, he acquired an expensive green Mercedes Benz that he rides around anytime he’s in town.

In May 2019, Nasty C bought another fancy ride.

Nasty C Music Career:

At age 9, Nasty C’s elder brother, Siyabonga Ngcobo who is a record producer,  had started teaching him (Nasty C) the basics in music production and how to rap.

At age 15, Nasty C had released his debut mixtape with the title “One Kid, a Thousand Coffins” on May 14th, 2012.

In 2014, he dropped his first EP, L.A.M.E (Levitating Above My Enemies) on 4 April.

Then on February 10th, 2015, he released his second mixtape titled “Price City” which had the popular and hit single “Juice Back” which raised his prominence in the world of music.

His ever popular “Juice Back” single was later remixed to include Davido and Cassper Nyovest on November 20th, 2015.

In the same year (2015), Nasty C became the youngest recipient of the “Best Freshman Award” at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards.

David Ngcobo aka Nasty C after successfully releasing 2 mixtapes and 1 EP, dropped his critically acclaimed debut album titled “Bad Hair” in 2016 under Mabala Noise Entertainment.

The “Bad Hair” album which had singles like “Don’t Do It'”, “Good Girls”, “Snapchat Hoes” and “Phases” featuring Rowlene, reached no. 1 on the iTunes local charts and was the most streamed album in South Africa within 24 hours of its release.

Nasty C, on December 2, 2016, dropped the extended version for his “Bad Hair” album titled “Bad Hair Extensions” with 4 new songs including the lead single “Allow” which featured American rapper, French Montana.

His EP, Bad Hair Extensions (2016) made history by being at the #1 spot on the iTunes chart for six consecutive weeks.

After winning many accolades in 2016 and 2017, Nasty C received his biggest nomination at the 2017 BET Awards for “Best International Act: Africa” which he lost to Wizkid of Nigeria.

Nasty C also had a nomination in the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards. He was ranked No. 3 on the 2017 MTV Base South Africa’s Hottest MCs.

On June 1st, 2018, he pre-released 2 singles, “Jungle”, and “King” featuring American rapper A$AP Ferg from his second album, “Strings and Bling”.

Nasty C on July 6th, 2018 dropped the full album, “Strings and Bling” which was named by TimesLIVE as one of the best hip hop albums in South Africa, and also included in the list of hip hop albums on Tina Magazine.

On August 20th, 2018, Nasty C set up his own record label, “Tall Racks Records Label” which signed his long-term associated singer, Rowlene as the first act alongside himself.

The “Strings and Bling” album which had hit singles like “SMA” featuring Rowlene, and the promotional single “Gravy” began his successful “The Ivyson Tour” on October 6th, 2018, at the Melrose Arch in Durban — with 5 consecutive shows (4 in South Africa and 1 in Namibia).

In 2019, he was named the ambassador of the male grooming company, Axe South Africa.

In March 2020, Nasty C signed a joint venture deal with Def Jam Records, releasing the single “There They Go” as his debut single in the United States.
