The two lovebirds (Omar Sheriff & Nana Ama) started dating eachother after they both co-starred in some Ghanaian movies.

2. Okyeame Kwame – the Rap Doctor
After the ‘rise and fall’ of Omar Sheriff Captan’s love affair with the Empress, Okyeame Kwame aka the ‘Rap Doctor’ employed all the love literary devices in rap music and smoothly rapped his way into Nana Ama McBrown’s heart sometime in 2004.
Unlike her previous relationship with Omar Sheriff that was completely shied away from prying eyes of the public, Nana Ama McBrown and Okyeame Kwame literally ‘chopped’ love in the full glare of publicity.
They were mostly seen together moving from one region to the other; one radio station to the other, and one television station to the other television station, promoting Okyeame Kwame’s solo project at the time.

3. Nana Wiafe Akenten aka Chief
Nana Wiafe Akenten aka Chief who’s a royal from Asante Hemang in the Ahanti Region, quickly slid in sometime in 2006 after Okyeame Kwame’s ‘kingdom’ built with Nana Ama had completely fallen flat.
Nana Ama McBrown and Nana Wiafe Akenten lived together as ‘husband and wife’ and even grabbed the headlines as the newest ‘royal couple’ in town at the time.
The August 5th, 2006 edition of the authoritative “Mirror” reported:
“the couple’s fairy tale marriage ceremony was held quietly in Kumasi about five months ago after the two had dated for a long time.
“Chief, how do you feel when you see other men literally kissing and cuddling your radiantly beautiful wife in movies?” The Mirror asked Nana Ama’s husband (Nana Wiafe).
“Oh, I take those things as acting, but if I see that the man is going too far, I make the effort to meet him and ask him to bring me his wife so I can also “press” her a little and we all laugh about it,” he replied with jest boldly written on his face.
For reasons best known to her, Nana Ama McBrown decided to leave that ‘marriage’ and only cited irreconcilable differences in early 2008.
Surprisingly, Nana Ama McBrown stated in an interview with Kwasi Aboagye on Peace Fm’s Entertainment Review that she was never married nor engaged to Nana Wiafe Akenten aka Chief.
She revealed in that same interview that the closest she came to marriage, was just at the ‘knocking stage’ with Nana Wiafe Akenten.

4. Maxwell Mawu Mensah
After she was heartbroken a couple of times, Nana Ama McBrown decided to put her love life ‘on hold’ until she met Maxwell Mawu Mensah at her birthday party sometime in 2011.
Things started knocking things, one thing led to the other, and before we knew, they were dating each other.
And as promised earlier by Nana Ama McBrown, the two lovers, in August, 2016, got married in a private wedding which only had close relatives, friends, and family members in attendance.

The answer is a big, big NO!!! What actually brought about this rumour was a ‘rare’ opportunity Nana Ama McBrown and some other leading actors and actresses, including Pete Edochie of Nigeria, had to hang around the former president at his residence in Accra after paying a courtesy call on him.
In a short video, the late ex-president Jerry John Rawlings is seen giving Nana Ama McBrown some hot peck on her cheek which the actress loved and was truly appreciative of.
