Celebrated American rapper, Lil Wayne has revealed his actual identity by announcing that he is from Nigeria.

The “Mirror” hit-maker said, after checking his ancestral background, he found out that he is 53% Nigerian.

He made this life-changing announcement whilst making an appearance on a show.

The rap superstar didn’t stop there but went ahead to shout out to all Nigerians and added that he will be visiting Nigeria anytime soon.

Many Nigerians have taken to social media to express their happiness after the rap heavyweight broke the news worldwide.

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., known professionally as Lil Wayne, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record executive, entrepreneur, and actor.

His career began in 1996, at the age of 13, when he was discovered by Birdman and joined Cash Money Records as the youngest member of the label.
