Shatta Wale is a Ghanaian dancehall artiste and music/record producer who has bagged many awards both locally and internationally throughout his entire music career.

The African Dancehall King currently rules as the most decorated dancehall artiste in Africa, and one of the most awarded dancehall artists in the world.

So far, Shatta Wale has 74 solid awards from 124 nominations as at the year 2020 to his name making him one of the most awarded musicians in Africa.

Without a shred of doubt, the “Gringo” hitmaker has contributed a lot in making the Dancehall genre very ‘attractive’ and noticeable not only in Ghana, but Africa.

Shatta Wale had his breakthrough in 2013-2014 when he released the ever popular “Dancehall King” track.
